Even in areas far from subway stations, bus routes can provide access to the downtown area. However, bus commutes are susceptible to traffic congestion, so it's important to verify actual commute times during peak hours.
Bus Areas in Aoba-ku and Miyagino-ku In areas more than a 15-minute walk from subway stations, bus routes become the primary access method. If buses to central Sendai run at least once every 30 minutes, commuting practicality is assured. Choosing properties within a 5-minute walk from a bus stop makes daily transportation easier.
Notes on JR Line Areas Properties along JR Seniseki Line (Aōba-dōri to Ishinomaki) and Senzan Line (Sendai to Yamagata) may have fewer trains than the subway. Be sure to check the times of the last and first trains beforehand, as well as the number of trains on holiday schedules.
